Just beat the scammers again! *Beware!* I had a telephone call supposedly from Santander re a possible fraud Mobile No It’s not Santander no! I told caller I would call back and speak to fraud dept. They tried giving me ‘we’ll have to lock your account’ I said fine I’ll call bank Spoke to bank , not surprisingly nothing wrong with my accounts! Worringly when I called back on scammer no from land line it even had Santander recorded message! They are so clever! |

Got totally taken in by someone on this number. They knew all my details and obtained access to two accounts. They kept me on the phone for hours and also managed to divert calls to my mobile to another number! Eventually got suspicious and contacted Santander myself who confirmed it was a scam. |

A well spoken English man claimed to be a Santander employee who said that a suspicious phone had been trying to access my bank details. I told him that I was recording his voice and she sounded annoyed. I took a screenshot of the number and reported it to the government phishing scams via email. |
