This will get reported - she was clearly working from an out-of-date supplier register (E.On ceased to supply our hall at the end of 2022).

	Unknown I received a call on my landline for the person in charge of energy accounts at the Village Hall from a charity who would help to save energy costs to Village Halls. Charity not named but caller identified herself as Daisy I asked for an estimate based on our annual consumption to compare with deals from our energy adviser.Was passed onto her male manager and was asked to send an energy bill so they could do that in reply to an email. Not happy and blocked number

	To stop these annoying scam calls that cause misery to the few they manage to con, read back on the posts under. It takes no more time to report these scam calls than it does to post on this site. The police NEED to know the extent of these scam attempts that hit the UK every day. It’s believed that many tens of thousands of scam calls texts and emails hit the UK every day but no one knows for sure. The police must understand the scale of this criminal activity. Currently they have little idea of what's actually going on. HINT: Save those fraud reporting addresses to your favourites/contacts. Saves a bit of time. Also post on this site how to report these scams every time you get a scam call or text to ensure the reporting details are known to everyone and the information is passed on

	Posts below explain how to access the police systems set up to report ALL scam attempts/numbers. TPS or blocking these scam numbers are of limited help. The mostly foreign based criminal gangs operating these scams will keep calling using any one of millions of computer generated spoofed genuine or fake UK landline and mobile numbers. Report ALL scam attempts directly to the cyber crime police and let them do what they are set up to do. Then post on this site to tell everyone about the scam and your experience at reporting them. BUT no good just one or two people reporting. Help the police do their job, help the vulnerable/uninformed and help everyone else by reporting ALL suspected scam calls. And check out that Channel 5 programme ‘Phone Scams – Don’t Get Caught’ on Catch Up. Scary!

	Details how to access the system set up by the police (NFIB) to make it easy and simple for the general public to report ALL scam phone texts emails and other fraud attempts are posted below. I was told to do this when I complained to my MP about the volume of scam calls I was getting. Scammers really do not want anyone to know this information. If you don’t report these calls/texts etc., don’t expect anything to happen to stop them. Reports to 7726, your phone provider, Ofcom, or any company the scammers are spoofing can sometimes, to an extent, be helpful but details may not be passed to the police fraud reporting system for possible criminal investigation.

	To help stop ALL scam/abusive/calls/texts take responsibility: report every single one directly onto the system set up by the police to make it easy for the public to report them: 1:Report to ‘action fraud’: Google ‘action fraud’. Go on the ‘police.uk’ site. Click on the ‘report a phishing attempt’ page. Read the information. Complete the report starting at the bottom of this police web page. You will also need to scroll down on the other pages. Provide the number and also full details including any link/internet address/threats in the free typing space on the 3rd page. 2:Emails and screen shots of messaging scams/threats eg texts/WhatsApp etc. should be emailed to ‘report@phishing.gov.uk'. Only a tiny fraction of 1% of scam calls/texts etc ever get reported to the police = HAPPY SCAMMERS!

	Unknown Claiming to be from Total gas and energy who we are with, even gave us a four digit number claiming it was the last four digits of our meter, obviously information from the national computer the same as gas meters. Then started asking for information which they should have known if they were from Total gas and energy, so hung up.
