I received a call from 01438 989 231 and was initially hesitant to answer, but when I did, the caller introduced themselves as a representative from Step Change, an EE partner. They were offering me information about EE's products and services, and were very polite and informative throughout the call. Called from EE I said I'm already an EE customer he said let me take your details and we could help do a deal! I said funny that I've just got a new phone he said oh yes I can see you got the new IPhone 14! I said bye bye scammer! Obviously didn't get the new phone lol. Beware. Reported as dangerous! |

Said were from EE and they could see I had searched for a multi SIM (whatever that is) on the web. I was on their app that week so not sure if genuine or not so I said I didn’t need anything and we both hung up. Very polite, could be genuine, not sure. |

Go on google and search EE partners and you will see this number under Stepchange as official partner with EE. Was worried it was a scam as well but after having a look I realized it wasn't and they helped me out get a good deal for an apple watch I was looking at online :) |

- a paul hall -from EE ( obviously a fake name ) they were very convincing - saying that they have noticed I had been on the EE website and had that I seemed to have not completed the contract. I had in fact just signed up to EE so there may have been a data breach . inevitably the scammer slipped up along the way to reveal themselves . I checked the telephone number on the Internet and found this website . I also checked with EE who confirmed that this was not an EE number. It's very sophisticated the answer phone says that this is EE |
