The only way to stop these scams is to keep reporting every one: 1. Report to āaction fraudā: Google āaction fraudā. Go on the āpolice.ukā site. Click on the āreport a phishing attemptā page. Read the information. Complete the scam report starting at the bottom of this police web page. Provide the scam number plus full details including any link/internet address/threats etc in the free typing space. 2. Scam emails and screen shots of messaging scams eg texts/WhatsApp etc. should be forwarded by email to āreport@phishing.gov.uk'. 3.The USA is implementing āCaller ID Authenticationā to stop spoofed and fake numbers calling there. Email your MP (the UK Parliament web site will tell you how), explain the problem and ask why we are not doing the same as the USA to prevent scam calls. |

My told me it was potential fraud that's enough not to answer if you're phone is telling you it's could be dangerous don't answer let it ring out and change your pin on voice mail if haven't done so because they can hack your voice mail. |

Insurance
Called me 20 minutes ago claiming to be the Insurers of my washing machine, and to tell me I needed to renew my insurance and wanted my bank card details in order for them to set up another direct debit through my bank. My phone said potential fraud, and I'm not sure whether it was a legitimate call because my washing machine is insured. |

Cocky young man Claimed to be calling in order to update a warranty on a washing machine. Got really rude when I asked for more details. Scam. Hope someone calls his grandma with the same grift. See how he likes it. |

called me. Asked for me under a name I haven't lived under for several years. When I said that wasn't my name they became rude. So I hung up. I did not find out who they were or why they were calling, but I have missed several calls from this number, so thats why I answered. |
