Definitely not real. Why would they ask to call back on a personal number |

I think this is a quite convincing attempt to masquerade as Lloyds Bank. This lady said she was from Lloyds Bank Crawley and wanted to know if they could help with a mortgage. Please be very very weary. |

Told me enough information about myself to convince me either she was genuine or had already performed identity theft on me. I'm strongly inclined to believe she was genuine. She wanted me to make an appointment at my local Lloyds Bank branch to discuss financial planning. I explained my unease, but I'm not sure she realised how unsettling it is to receive 'genuine' cold calls amongst all the scam calls I get. I don't think Lloyds Bank should use this method of contacting customers any more. |

I googled the number and assumed it to be Lloyds bank. Called to check using their official contact and they said they had no reason to have called me and it’s not a number that is on their system. |

Said it was Lloyds. But I just called my bank. Isn’t their number and stated that would never call me direct like that. Never had Lloyds call me in my 30+ years of being with them. |

100% Lloyds bank. Calling to confirm the appointment I had booked with them through the banking app. Definitely not a scam |

Debbie from Lloyds Chippenham. She didn't ask any personal questions or attempt a scam so probably genuine. The method of telephoning is bad as there are other, more secure ways, to contact people to make them aware of new products. |

. I didn't answer this number. I called my Lloyd's bank and yes this is a genuine lloyds number. Apparantly they do use a variety of numbers. |

There are people posting on this feed who don't know the difference between a scam number and a spoofed number. There is a difference. This genuine bank number looks like it may have been spoofed. Spoofed number calls means the caller is the scammer cloning this genuine number. You don't want to miss any genuine call from your bank. If you bank with Lloyds, be aware that the number is genuine but the question is - is the caller genuine? There is a post below that seems to explain this and also how to check if the call is genuine. |

A GENUINE LLOYDS BANK NUMBER! NOT A SCAM NUMBER! DON’T BLOCK IT IF YOU USE ANY LLOYDS BANK! BUT you can’t be certain who is actually calling. Scammers have spoofed (copied/cloned) all phone numbers used by all banks. If you get any contact from your bank, end the call, check to ensure your connection has cleared, then call your bank using the number on your bank card. Do not delay as the call could be genuine and there is a problem with your account requiring your attention. To stop criminals using spoofed bank numbers, contact your MP. Ask what Parliament is doing to force our phone industry to introduce USA Caller ID Authentication technology to prevent criminals using untraceable spoofed or fake UK numbers from calling. The UK parliament web site tells you how to contact your MP. |

It rang for about 2 seconds. On calling it back it appears to be from LLoyds bank. Calling from a branch and they will call me back at a more convenient time. Im really not sure tbh. |
